Hello I’m Lex (that’s what everybody calls me).

First things first -I’m a Christadelphian, which means ‘Brethren in Christ’. I do my best to live my life in a way that is pleasing and acceptable to God in every way that I can.

I’m originally from Canada and moved to the UK a couple of years ago to be with my amazing, fantastically super husband who is my best friend and happens to be Welsh. We live in beautiful South Wales, where the trees are greener and the rain is more abundant (but so are the rainbows… we’ll get to that).

I have the constant need for creativity. I love to stretch my creative muscles and I’m hoping that this blog will continue to fuel my need to do so and that it will inspire me to do more of it!

I’m always on the lookout for new ways to put my stamp on the things that surround me. I love sketching, painting, home décor, photography, card making, soap making, cooking, baking (to list the things that immediately come to mind) and I always seem to have some kind of a project on the go.

This blog is about what happens when it’s raining. What I’m doing indoors (and sometimes out) while it’s absolutely ‘tipping it down’. I’m still not used to it, and I treasure the sunny days (melodramatics abound), but I’m trying to see the rainbows here! The beautiful colours that happen when the sun shines through the clouds, channelled in the things that I love doing, that bow of colour that breaks the cloudy sky.

But most of all remembering this when I see a rainbow on a gloomy day.

‘And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.’ Gen 9:13
